IT IS WRITTEN.

MY LOVE FOR BOOKS AND A PAIR OF HEELS: #BOOKS & HEELS WEDNESDAY!

Today I want to talk about the art of writing with emphasis on church notes/journals.

So many of us hardly take bibles to church not to talk of a note or journal for jotting.

When Jesus entered the temple at 12 years, he had a script to read because someone had written down, documented and filed in what we now have as scriptures.

When he was tempted after his 40 days fast, he made reference to what has been written.

Heaven itself has records of every man's deeds and we shall all give account on the last day.

What reference do YOU have when faced with situations and when in doubt.

A lot of rhemas, revelations, instructions, prophecies and declarations are made whenever we find ourselves in the atmosphere of his presence. Some we remember faintly afterwards and others we forget completely.

Personally, I don't joke with my church notes/ journals. I still have my church notes/journals I used as way back as 2003 till date in my personal library.

You can't meet me in a gathering as a matter of fact without my pens and writing pad.

Finally, I don't just write down and forget about it. Most times I pick up my notes/journals and revise them. I also have a habit of revising my note towards the end of every year. That way I get to remember what was written, action points and also right out things I need to ponder on.

  • What messages of 2013 can you still remember?

  • Did you revise your 2013 church note/ journal at the end of the year?

  • Would you like to revise your 2013 church note/journal?

  • If your answer is YES, then I employ you to comment by saying so. And also to take time between now and next week Wednesday which is 6th May, 2015 to send me vickydeborahduruji@gmail.com  a summary of your revision or a fraction of it. You'll be surprised at things you've forgotten about that you will remember.

Now you know the importance.
Revise your 2013 church note/journal and send to my email.!!!
I will be so delighted to read it and I promise to publish it on my blog on a future date.

Hugs & Kisses.

ON THE ELECTIONS.

I AM A PROPHETIC WOMAN: #TUESDAYS DECLARATION!

"Prayer does not change or move God's will in our direction but it changes us and moves us in the direction of God's will."

                           - Matthew 26 v.42

During the pre-election and election phase, I carefully chose to be quiet and speechless to opinions and comments made, even from those who said that 'God said or told them', because after it was all over some persons who had made severally utterances have been left in a state of dejavu.

Now, this was what I kept saying and speaking, this was my personal opinion and comment....

"Father, let your will be done in NIGERIA."

It is not about the person who is elected but about the one who allows such a person to have that privilege to serve. Proverbs 21 v. 1

Change is not brought about by election, nomination or appointments. We all as individuals are responsible for change.

Take out time to pray for our leaders and elected leaders in NIGERIA as today marks one month to the hand-over and swearing in of the president elect.

We are making declarations that their hearts will be subjected to the authority of God's direction and will for our nation 'NIGERIA'.

JOIN ME every Tuesday on my
Facebook
page
- Onyekachi Duruji

And via TUESDAY'S DECLARATION Whatsapp group chat-+2348033150596,+2348180738056.

As we make declarations and take hold of our land in prayers.

STAY ON YOUR SCRIPT...

DEBBIE'S DIARY: #MY THOUGHTS MONDAY!

I want to encourage and motivate someone today to...

"Stay on your Script until you get the right answers"

                                                  - VickyDeborah Duruji.

"For it is the glory of the Lord to conceal a matter and the honor of Kings to search it out." - Proverbs 25 v. 2

A lot of times, God gives us visions and ideas and then we want to see them happen immediately.

A vision is the picture in my imagination and sometimes this pictures comes in little pieces. So if you rush out after you get one single idea without confirmations you might stop half way through it because you weren't patient enough to wait.  Abraham waited, Moses waited, Jesus waited, YOU too can wait. Commit your work unto the Lord; trust him; and he shall bring it to pass.

"WHATEVER GIVES YOU JOY WHEN YOU ARE DOING IT, IS A VISION."

"WHATEVER YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT, IS A VISION."

For me, the first thing to do after getting an idea or a vision, is to write it down and thereafter commit it to the Lord so that he shall establish it.

"The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirit.
Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established."
         - Proverbs 25 v. 2

I received my first assignment in April, 2007 and accomplished it on the 15th and 16th of July, 2007.

Between 2007 and 2009, ideas kept coming with series of revelations, instructions and encounter and I never stopped writing them down. Then in 2009, I got the name for my NGO which you already know by now: DYNASTY OF KINGS CAPACITY CENTRE. By this time my imaginations began to look clearer to me and I started putting all the little pieces together.

Then finally in 2014, 7 years after my first assignment, I was able to launch out / dedicate my NGO. I am now planning for my official launch / fund raising event.

"No one ever achieved their assignments by staying within the confines of their comfort zones.
Do not limit your dreams and plans to only what you can figure out.
Do not bury that God inspired dream or idea just because you are uncertain of how it willl turn out.
Take it to God in prayers and be ready to launch out in faith as he leads."
          - Pastor Taiwo Odukoya

Honestly and truthfully speaking since 3rd March, 2014 when I started planning to launch till date after I've launched out, I have joy unspeakable from within and a sense of walking in my ordained path. Its not been easy, but it has been fun. And I long for better days.

Are YOU staying on your script....?

Thats a food for thought.

1.) Irish potatoes
2.) Onion
3.) Fresh Tomatoes (optional)

C.) Place your cooking pot or deep frying pan on the cooker and pour in your vegetable oil;
D.)  As soon as it heats, add a little salt to it then add your onion and fry a little (not too much), then add every other vegetables chopped after which you add your chicken seasoning spice then stir gently;

#VIKIDEBSSEWINGCLASSES#DAY 1.

DEBBIE'S DESIGNS: #DOVIKIAH KREATIONS FRIDAY!

Its my first day as an apprentice today.

So while at the office, I kept thinking about having to leave on time as I needed to get to Diamond Bank to pick up some cash to buy my sewing materials and also make arrangement for drinks, biscuit, a bottle of groundnut and a bottle of wine which is the usual tradition when someone is getting started as an apprentice in vocations like wielding, hair-dressing, catering, etc at least that's the case here in Nigeria.

However, I lost track of time and couldn't make it to the bank. Thank God I had some money on me that covered for the drinks and other stuffs. so I promised to get my sewing materials the next day.

At the close of work I was welcomed by other apprentice and we prayed together for understanding and speed to learn adequately.

Lessons Learnt-:

1) Today was all about hand stitching (to tack or baste).

In sewing, to tack or baste means to make quick, temporary stitching intended to be removed.

2) I came back home and also surfed through the internet to follow blogs as well  as pages on Facebook on sewing tutorials/instructions.

WORKING TOWARDS EXCEEDING.

DEBBY SAYS: #THURSDAYS QUOTES!

"EXCELLENCE IS NOT SOMETHING WE JUST DESIRE,

EXCELLENCE IS SOMETHING WE WORK AT."

                                         - Vicky Deborah

I once came across this quote from a blog I follow* (I would soon place a gadget of the blogs I read on my layout, please bear with me, thank you) and I think its worth sharing.

"Books can take you wherever you want to go. I have sat at the table of kings because of books. I have been mistaken for a double doctorate bearer because of my love for books (I quoted some anthropologist which left all the academics with jaws on the floor). Its not intelligence really. Its READING, mixing it with experience and having your own opinion on matters..."

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks... If you want to be quoted by someone someday you have to go on a book shopping and inculcate the habit of reading books thereafter* all types of books please. Enough with the make-up, human hair, clothes, jewelries, shoes, wrist watches, belts, bags, all the smart phones tablets notepads, etc*

My sweetiechocohoniepie recently saw some* (emphasis on some) of my collection of books and said I'm so proud of  what you've been reading, our books combined will make an excellent library. This is because I have variety of book collections from Parenting- Entrepreneurship- Fashion- Management Development- Women in development- Tim Lahaye's Left Behind Series- Inspirational- Motivational- Creative Art- Devotionals- Home Interiors- Love Life Sex- Law Books (lets not even get started about my law text, acts, journals, notes from law school days...) and a hosts of others including magazines.

"YOUR READING HABITS DETERMINES YOUR LEVEL OF EXCELLENCE."
                                             -Vicky Deborah

How many books have you read this year?

What books are you reading at the moment?

Are you like me who reads more than one book at a time? Well if you love reading books, you'll know that its possible to do such.

Please leave your comments by posting a picture of the book or books, thank you.!!!

I might just love the books I see and add them to by books to buy list* (oh yeah...don't be surprise, I do have a list of books to buy for whenever its book shopping for me).

MY FAVORITE BOOK.

MY LOVE FOR BOOKS AND A PAIR OF HEELS: #BOOKS & HEELS WEDNESDAY!

But one thing is needful..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Jesus told Martha whilst she complained that Mary her sister had left her to serve alone- Luke 10 v. 38-42.

I was asked by a friend sometime in the later months of 2010, what my driving force was? As I thought carefully to answer rightly, four words came out of my mouth and I said "The Word of God".

Prior to that day I hadn't asked myself that questions or even thought about it. But hey..! I didn't need to think about it twice to repeat my answer again and again. I find strength and ideas when I study the word. Yeah I do take out time to study the word* (another thing I love doing), searching through different translation to fully grasp the rhema and logos!!!!

I derive so much joy when I study the word, and I also love to share whatever revelations, lessons or teachings I understood afterwards.

My favorite book is the bible.

Now you know mine.....What is yours?

THE PRAYING WOMAN.

I AM A PROPHETIC WOMAN: #TUESDAYS DECLARATION!

When a woman prays from her depths she moves God to act, she moves Him to grant her request.
Reasons being that we are willing to lay our lives, sacrifice something of worth or go through pain all because we want to see the manifestation of God in our lives, situation/circumstances and in our land.

Examples of such women are-:

Esther, who prayed for the deliverance of her people from facing destruction. Esther 4 v. 13-16

Hannah, who prayed for a child and vowed to give him back to God. I Samuel 1 and 2

Deborah, who led her people to battle. Judges 4 to 5

The Woman with the Alabaster Box, who sacrificed an expensive perfume on the feet of Jesus to be made whole. Mark 14 v. 3-9

Today there is still a call for praying women. Women with one demand and one expectation interceding for their cities, nations, homes and continent
.
Someone once wrote and I quote..
"Focused! Driven! Sure of what you want out of life. A world changer...but have gradually lost touch of basic female gender oriented duties...dearie I'll say you drop that pen, put down that system and pay grandma a visit! You are first a woman before anything else."
                                                          -Levis Ann

For me, part of the basic female gender oriented duties is the place of prayer. Its been written in the book of Proverbs that a wise woman builds her home. What is a home or Where can one call home? I'll tell you...its not just your immediate circle, but that compound where you live, that street where you reside, your state of residence, your state of origin, the country you reside, your place of nationality....this are homes that connect directly and indirectly to you. And the only way to be sure that these homes are building firmly is by having an altar. Going on your kneels, joining hands with fellow sisters can taking hold of situation that's contrary to making His kingdom come and His will to be done.
JOIN ME every Tuesday on my
Facebook
page- Onyekachi Duruji and via TUESDAY'S DECLARATION Whatsapp group on this number +2348033150596 as we make declarations and take hold of our home.

Sorry its a day late!!!!

STARTING WITH THE LITTLE.

DEBBIE'S DIARY: #MY THOUGHTS MONDAY!

My Thoughts on March 3, 2014...

I am determined to make a difference
I am bold enough to start small
I will do the first and trust God for the next
I know its all about God; His word and His will
I  am ready to pay the price
I know how I want to be
I know who I want to become
I'm not going to miss a step
I'm not behind schedule
So I'm thinking... pondering...
What am I doing at present?
Is this where He wants me to be?
Must I be an employee to meet my financial needs
Have I been obedient to my heavenly vision?
If I've not gotten a job,
Why not start my NGO...
I might just discover that the reason for the job delay is...
To push me to start what the Lord has rested in my heart.
So I said to myself, wrote it down and pasted it on my room wall:
"VICKY
                  Wake Up Early.
                   Dress Up.
                   Sit by the table.
                   Invest in DKCC."

"I'VE ALWAYS KNOWN YOU WON'T WORK UNDER AN EMPLOYER FOR TOO LONG. YOU HAVE THE CAPACITY TO CREATE EMPLOYMENT FOR OTHERS."
                              - Barr. Mrs. Chinyere Idoko Ezugwu

"YOU'VE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT THIS NGO I FOR ONE KNOW THIS EARTH WILL BE BLESSED YOU STARTED THAT NGO (NOT FLATTERING YOU ONE BIT)"
                                       - Barr. Chidinma Hispearl Ilechukwu

"LITTLE EFFORTS, GREAT RESULTS. MUCH INPUT, LITTLE ENERGY SAPPED."
                                                  - Vicky Deborah Duruji

DOVIKIAH KREATIONS.

DEBBIE'S DESIGNS: #DOVIKIAH KREATION FRIDAY!

I have always loved designing clothes especially when it involves African fabrics as well as paper crafts.

I remember also wearing mostly traditional attires to Sunday services whilst I was much younger and my sisters* ( now Mrs. Ogechi Ezuka & Mrs. Chika Mba) would always jest me of 'dressing up like an older lady'* (because at the time, their understanding of an older ladies dress sense includes putting on a lot of traditional outfits)*smiling!

On the other hand as regards paper crafts, my beautiful, strong, courageous, and God fearing mother*(Mrs. Ifeoma Mabel Duruji) would always order I and my sisters to tidy our bedroom as it eventually always get messed up and littered with lots of paper and paper crafts.

Today, this past memories, observations and experiences of mine has metamorphosed into one of my natural abilities*(a great topic to look forward too by the way) leading to my passions, hence, the innovation of Dovikiah Kreations!

"DOVIKIAH- gotten from Deborah Onyekachi Victoria and IAH like the prophets IsaIAH, JeremIAH,etc

KREATION- meaning designs created by MMI 'Me Myself and I (Yours Truly)."

Keeping reading my blog-posts as I take you into my world of creative designing and fashion house*(remember Wednesdays post on THINKING BIG and Starting small).

Time won't permit me to start my entries on #VIKIDEBSDIALYSEWINGCLASSES!

"...its not just going to be book shopping alone anymore for me*excited!"

 -#VIKIDEBSEWINGCLASSES! #DAY 2.

I will start from #DAY 1 next week Friday.

Until then, have a #DKF!!! Friday.

Sometimes, you have to take note of how your character reflects to people around you. That way they'll have nice things to say about your person.
We are all humans and we need this compliments.

But most especially though our concerns should be on how heaven sees us:
"There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job: and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil."                                                   JOB 1 v. 1 (KJV)
"Then answered one of the servants, and said, behold I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethelehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valor man, a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him."                                  1 SAMUEL 16 v. 18 (KJV)
"... and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance..."         1 SAMUEL 25 v. 3 (KJV)

Even Jesus asked his disciples who do men say I am?
You can make a list of some other persons described in the bible as well as another list of quotes from various persons, describing YOU!!!

Bye now.

A CALL TO PRAYER

DEBBIE'S DIARY: # TUESDAY'S DECLARATION.

ABOUT TUESDAY'S DECLARATION.
I started Tuesday's Declaration while on my court and chambers attachment 'a requisite in attaining the Nigerian call to bar certificate',in 2012 at Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria with my daughter, friend... Oluchi Nnaji.

We had several issues bothering us at the time and needed to seek God's face in prayer. But because we had a tight schedule that period, we both decided to pray on a Tuesday night ' vigil' (from 10pm-12am) at my apartment.

However, after we had studied the word on that particular Tuesday and started praying, different instructions came in...
I write:
1.) We would be making declarations at the end of every prayer point raised- Job 22 v. 28, Isaiah 55 v. 10-11;
2.) We would be praying for the city 'Enugu' (The City Gates is one very WOW topic that would  captivate your heart when it is dished out...so keep reading my post)- Matthew 5 v.14b;
3.) We would be praying for our leaders- Psalm 2 v. 2-6,10-11;
4.) We would be praying for our nation 'NIGERIA'- Psalm 2 v. 7-8;
5.) Lastly, we would from then on be praying every Tuesdays and I tagged it TUESDAY'S DECLARATION.

And that was how we both forgot about our personal issues and became intercessors (smiling*). Then we reached out to other ladies to connect with us.

You too can connect and be a part of this intercessory prayer chain. Bearing in mind the instructions given in Ephesians 6 v.10-18.

ON MY NGO NAME

Debbie's Diary: #My Thoughts Monday/ Write Ups.

After chatting with some persons...

Sharing the vision, ideas and concept

As I struggled with what name would drive the message home

Not derailing from the vision

It began to hit me that its being 'it' all the while

Surely 'my 2009 experience' (which is a story for another day) was real

It birthed DYNASTY OF KINGS CAPACITY CENTRE (DKCC)

Now in 2014

As I consider launching out into the deep

The only name that could encompass the whole vision

Was the one He divinely singled out.

In order not to drift from the vision,

I had to stick with the name that He chose

So in that stillness...

I could see Him directing me back to 'the board' (my dashboard so to say)

Where I had written down several instructions and directives.

I AM ONLY A VESSEL LORD!

But A VESSEL OF HONOR is my desire.

I wrote this piece on 26/06/2014 @ about 11:15am in DKCC Temporary Office, Lagos, Nigeria.

You can view more pictures ofC DKCC Dedication which took place on 20/07/2014 in Lagos,Nigeria via my Facebook page- Onyekachi Duruji.

          "DREAM BIG. START SMALL"

"One thing I've come to learn is that if you have a vision with God's backing, just start it anyhow and watch God do His thing. Even if you need to start operating from your room or a container."-  Chinyere Idoko Ezugwu
"MAY MY MUCH BE LITTLE AND MY LITTLE MUCH"- Onyekachi Duruji
I hope this inspires you today!

AN EXPRESSION OF MY CREATIVITY.

Debbie's Diary. #Beginnings!

Welcome to my personal blog vikidebscrib!

My reasons for being a blogger is simple, true and honest..."I want to be able to write on or tell a picture story of something that defines my person, my belief, my identity, my passion and my driving force using this medium".
I am very passionate about reaching out to someone and I'm hoping its you.

It feels great to start blogging after so many months of nursing the idea.
